My favorite little guy.
The little guy isn't feeling so great today. He had to go with me to meet a client today and while we were waiting, I took this shot of him...he has such beautiful eyes. Enjoy.

Great weekend! And a few Duke City Derby photos!
I had the amazing opportunity to go out and shoot a wedding this weekend with two really great local photographers. I'm not going to post any details or photos, because it wasn't my wedding, but it was a really great experience and I got some great shots.
Hmmm...what else, what else? Ah, last week I went to a 3 hour painting class that was about opening creativity. The class was pretty cool. I painted a pretty fun painting. Normally I kind of control the direction and composition of my paintings pretty heavily. Or at least, I judge them a lot while I'm painting. In this class, you were supposed to pick whatever color speaks to you and then go paint whatever happens with it. Then you do that again when you're done with that particular color. You paint until you feel you're done. The painting I ended up with was something very different from what I usually paint. Pretty interesting. It was really strange for me to give up the control. It was actually really hard.
I've been posting the photos I took at The Biggest Little Burly-Q in the Q up on Flickr. You should go look at them, but I warn you, they are definitely not safe for work. NSFW!!! It is burlesque after all. Probably shouldn't show them to your kids either. The link:

I will post some photos though. I took photos at a Duke City Derby bout last weekend. Two bouts actually. Hobots vs. Whiplashes and DIA vs. Disco Brawlers. Great fun as always. Albuquerque ladies won both times. I really want to go to the newbie skates. I think it would be beyond fun to be a part of roller derby. So, make with the photos already then...
More will be posted at Flickr once I'm finished posting the Burly-Q photos. Until then, here you go:
