One more...

Wow. No posts for months, then 3 in one day.

I'm so behind on Flickr. I have a whole bunch of photos to put up. I have some from a fashion event. Some from the Super Nationals... I have a backlog of personal photos to put up. I hope to get to it this weekend.

Anyway, on to the point of this post. I've been harassing my friends, and getting some of them to come out for photo sessions. Here are a few photos from my most recent outing. This is Mandy and Gabriel from HoPunch.

Went to the Flash Bus Tour!

Yesterday I went to the Flash Bus Tour to see David Hobby and Joe McNally speak about small flash photography. It was awesome!!! I learned so much. I've been following the Strobist blog and Flickr group for some time, so it was really great to see him talk about setting up a shot and going through all the steps. I was also really excited to see McNally and I actually learned a lot about my newest speedlight. I picked up an SB800 not too long ago and we weren't really on the best of terms yet.

I'm really excited about experimenting with the flashes now. I have three. I have two SB600s and an SB800. I've been itching to set up some experimental shot in the house or grab a friend and make them model for me so I can play with the speedlights.

Not really sure why Joe McNally calls himself "Numnuts"...  If you have a chance to get to one of the dates, you should go.
